— Bermuda, one of the few states with a state-run travel advisory system, will start allowing people to travel between Texas and the United States on Thursday after a review of its airspace system.
The announcement was made by Governor Ricardo Rosselló in a video released by the governor’s office on Thursday.
Brent Bader, chief executive officer of the Bermuda Travel Association, said that travel from the United Kingdom to Bermuda is now permitted, though passengers must obtain a special flight authorization from Bermuda’s Air Traffic Control Authority, which will determine which airports they’ll fly through.
Bermudas departure from the U.K. will take place from Bermuda Airports Authority, he said.

Department of Transport said the British government will take control of Bermuda’s air traffic control for the first time since the airline’s collapse in the late 1990s.
British Airways, the second-largest carrier in the U in terms of revenue, announced in June that it was buying the airline, and Bermuda will become one of three U.S. carriers in 2019 to be purchased by British Airways.
American Airlines said last month it will take over the U-K.
air service for the next decade.
In Bermuda, American, United and Virgin Group will jointly operate the air service.
