The U.K. and France are warning travelers to take extra precautions ahead of Hurricane Florence.
(Published Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2019)The two countries said Thursday that they will be limiting travel from the U, France and Germany to the U., U.N. territories and the French-speaking island of Guadeloupe.
The U.P.C.A. is also restricting travel to the United States.
It is not clear if the new travel restrictions are linked to Florence, which is expected to dump more rain than the U and France have predicted, causing flooding.

A hurricane watch is in effect for parts of Florida and Louisiana, and a storm surge advisory is in place for parts, including the Gulf of Mexico.
More than 200,000 homes in Florida and 1.7 million in Louisiana were under a mandatory evacuation order.
